While we’re experts in creating digital solutions, we’re also part of a bigger picture. We strongly believe each company is responsible for building a better world, especially in the local communities of our employees. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) isn’t just about looking good; it’s about doing good and being a force for positive change.
Let’s talk impact. Here’s more about CSR actions at Exadel and introduce our commitments.
Green Goals
We’re slashing our carbon footprint and building a sustainable future. From energy efficiency to waste reduction, we’re making every office greener.
This year, we held initiatives dedicated to ecological awareness. During a 4-week EcoStyle Marathon, we encouraged our employees to form sustainable habits and make an impact in their surroundings.
We have also started planting trees in our locations in Poland in partnership with posadzimy.pl, and in the US through EcoVadis and EarthDay.org.
Exadel has been recognized for its sustainability efforts by earning a Bronze Medal from EcoVadis, the world's leading provider of sustainability ratings. This distinction places us in the top 35% of companies assessed by EcoVadis in the past year, underscoring our commitment to responsible business practices.
Education
We emphasize supporting technological education. Through our significant partnership with the BTU Business and Technology University in Georgia, we have supported technological training for juniors from vulnerable communities, individual mentorship programs, and workshop sessions.
We also provide individual mentorships and training (such as Manual Testing training) for women looking to start an IT career in Poland through a partnership with DareIT.
Community
We’re more than just neighbors — we’re active participants. Through volunteering, donations, and partnerships, we’re creating positive change in our local communities. These initiatives are usually powered by Exadellers who let us know about actions worth supporting in the places they live. We take immense pride in our team members’ involvement in such initiatives, whether this includes providing essential educational supplies to needy school students in Vinnytsia, Ukraine, or helping to renovate and equip a computer classroom in a school in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Just recently, we partnered with the NGO Asas Solidarias and Playing for Change Brasil, which directly supports the people affected by the recent floods in the Rio Grande do Sul state. Our donation to these charities will help distribute care packages, including medicines, food, and clothes. Since May, Exadel Brazil has also supported a local NGO, Ser Ponte Fortaleza, which supports single mothers in need.
Many of our employees also care about animals, and as Exadel, we support animal causes through donation drives and volunteer actions for local shelters in Poland, Bulgaria, and Ukraine. Partnering with Dare 2 Care Animals, the Bulgaria office plans to rescue and care for stray kittens and dogs in Sofia, extending to fostering abandoned or injured animals, actively seeking loving adopters, and ensuring care for those still navigating the streets.
Direct Donations
Words are important, but deeds are essential. Let’s get specific. Our global team is making waves in different ways. Our employees are passionate about giving back, and nearly 15% choose a charity donation as a reward within our internal recognition programs.
“I’d often considered supporting charities or those in need but never found the time to act on it. When I received an email about the Recognition Program prize options, it felt like the perfect opportunity. I chose the ‘money donation’ option because I believe in the power of giving back. Helping others is rewarding, and I’m convinced it creates positive energy in return”
— Odinakhon Khodjaeva, Regional Lead of HR Manager, Exadel Uzbekistan
This summer, we launched direct donation programs in Chile, Brazil, the US, and Canada. Here, employees can donate $5 on their birthday and work anniversary to a cause they care about.
“I decided to support Tearmann Society, a community-based non-profit dedicated to persevering and promoting the dignity and human rights of women who have been abused and their children through the provision of safe shelter, direct services, education, advocacy, and community action. Helping such organizations aligns with my values.”
— Kayla MacDonald, HR Manager, Exadel Canada
Future Plans
These actions are just examples of our many CSR projects within Exadel. What we do may seem like a drop in the ocean, but it’s all these little drops that count. This commitment is ongoing, and we’re excited to share more about our expanding initiatives in the future.
