At Exadel, our dedicated Learning & Development team ensures ongoing support through workshops, training, resources, and financial reimbursement for external courses. We spoke with the Exadel Champion learners of 2024, who took full advantage of our educational benefits. Here’s what they had to say. 

Exadel provides many high-quality internal courses; all I need to do to enroll is click the button. Also, I’m happy that the company purchases external courses so I can acquire new skills even faster. When a company supports education initiatives, it invests in employees and its future, so it is a win-win situation.

Opportunities to learn provided by Exadel significantly improved my English and Polish skills, which personally benefited me. The advanced skills I gained have expanded my capabilities, improved my performance on challenging projects, and prepared me for higher-level responsibilities.

Course Recommendations

I recently completed Time Management and Emotional Intelligence courses, which taught me to be more productive and stay calm and focused no matter what’s happening outside. The Engineering Management and Communication courses provided valuable information about working in teams and cross-cultural communication.

One standout was “Learning How to Learn” by Deep Teaching Solutions. It provides valuable advice about making learning the most effective.
There are a few more courses I won’t list here, but I want to emphasize that skills are the things that stay with you forever (or almost forever), and they are valuable assets to invest in.

I am sincerely grateful that the company encourages continuous learning, that I can pursue educational activities, and that I can receive tuition reimbursement for relevant courses and certifications. As much as I enjoyed delving into the topics of the chosen courses, I also had to balance them with my daily responsibilities, which required disciplined time management. This challenge was a rewarding opportunity to hone my organizational skills further.

I think that supporting company learning initiatives can not be overstated. It demonstrates the company’s investment in its people, who are, in return, more likely to feel motivated and engaged in their work. Course Recommendations

One training that stood out, in particular, was organized by our colleague Senior Delivery Manager Tatsiana Romanovich. During the training on “Nonviolent Communication,” I learned a combination of skills that improved my communication in daily work and interpersonal relationships. The training helped increase my understanding of my own needs, feelings, and communication patterns. I learned the importance of formulating explicit, actionable requests rather than vague demands – an essential skill to master for any manager.

The course broadened my perspective on workplace communication, and the regular practice sessions with colleagues provided a safe and supportive environment for applying these skills. By learning these skills and concepts, we all gained valuable tools for fostering more compassionate, effective, and fulfilling communication in various aspects of our lives.
